Last month (July) I had the opportunity to visit and talk with many passionate people in Western Australia who are pursuing innovative housing futures. From citizen groups to planning authorities, the passion for improving multi-unit housing outcomes is certainly on the agenda in the west.

Some of the great projects under development there include the White Gum Valley Baugruppe Project (UWA, LandCorp, Space Agency and others), The Henry Project, Fremantle Nightingale (EDHO architects and Fini Sustainability) and a 'co-operative' housing project promoted by the Fremantle City Council.

I look forward to keeping in touch with these projects over time. In the meantime, its off to Melbourne for an update with all the exciting activity occurring there. If anyone knows of projects in Melbourne which might fit the AMUHP research agenda, please feel free to get in touch. Jasmine
